The Daviess County Commission passed the Senior Citizen Real Estate Tax Credit ordinance. Applications will be accepted from May 1st through June 30th, 2025. The Daviess County Commission will accept applications from residents interested in serving as board members:

Applications for one Trustee to serve on the board of the Daviess County Library for a 4-year term beginning July 2025. Applicants must be a resident of the County, not be an Elected County Official paid by the County, and not be related to a current employee of the Library by marriage or blood within the 3^rd degree. Completed applications must be returned to the County Clerk’s office no later than 4:30 pm, June 17, 2025.

Applications for one Director to serve on the board of the Daviess County Senior Citizens’ Tax Board for a 4-year term beginning July 2025. Applicants must be a resident of the County, not be an Elected County Official paid by the County, and not be related to a current board member by marriage or blood within the 3^rd degree. Completed applications must be returned to the County Clerk’s office no later than 4:30 pm, June 24, 2025.
